A Day on Capitol Hill

There may be more to come as I am temping in a city of politians. Yesterday, I had no idea I would find myself as a receptionist for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, but here I am! It's certainly not boring, as far as switchboard/receptionist work goes. Several congressmen and women walk down the hall, say their hellos and make small talk with me. I sure wish I knew who they were and what they stood for, but really how much can I stay on top of? Who knows what's in store for tomorrow, besides an audition at the Smithsonian and work at another DC office?
