Yes, I've heard of the Frank Zappa song by this title, in fact, the Boyles (family friends) burned me a CD of the track for my graduation party. ... So, it's packing day! I've been home for a little under a week, and barely have my lines down for Wednesday... eek! No, it's been a fun week home with my fam: Spent a day with Grandma (we saw "Monster-in-Law"), and a super shopping day with Mom. Friday night, Andre performed with his friend FatFreeBob in Newport. They dedicated "Home on the Range" to me and followed up with a country medley ... Save a horse, ride a cowboy! It will be quite an experience going out west tomorrow, but I'm psyched! Saturday was a graduation/birtday party for Andre, myself, Liz, and Marcel-- so cool to see all my brothers and sisters- in -law (well one is soon-to-be) as well as extended family whom I won't see until Jacques & Liz's wedding in October, and yesterday was Memere's 80th birthday partyin Woonsocket. So with one day left, I have to finish memorizing lines, go for a run :-) , and pack my life into a suitcase.
I will be touring with "The Jungle Book" and my part is Baloo the Bear (including a huge bit of narration). People from the theatre will be picking us up from the airport tomorrow, and it sounds like several of us Tour Actor/Directors will be on the same connecting flight.. How fun!. It's gonna be like college all over again....
