For all those Steelers fans out there, this week I am staying in the town where Brett Keisel #99 grew up. Signs are up everywhere in this small mining town of Greybull, WY. It's been a good week here. I've been hitting the track down at the school almost everyday, and I've made a big decision since the last post. I was originally planning on going to MidWest Theatre Auditions in St. Louis in late February, but after an inspirational talk with my mom, I'm moving in a different direction. I am not as competitive as I was last year at this time, so the trip would really be a huge waste of money. Instead, I am spending the remainder of my tour really living in the moment and experiencing life Out West (making observations for future character work, etc.). My plan is to move back to RI for the summer where I'll receive more training in voice, acting, and dance, and travel to regional auditions in Washington, Philly, and New York. If anyone has recommendations for good auditions to check out, please let me know. The name of a really good voice teacher has been passed down to me, so I hope she'll be someone who can really help me hone into my talents.
Lovely! Things are lookin good and we're having one of the mildest winters out here, couldn't ask for more.
